Hustai National Park is a protected grassland reserve in central Mongolia, located west of Ulaanbaatar in an area of rolling степpe, forested hills, and river valleys. The park is best known for the reintroduction of the Przewalski’s horse, known locally as takhi, a wild horse species that had disappeared from Mongolia before conservation programs returned it to the region.

Sakkara, located just south of Cairo, is one of Egypt’s most important archaeological sites and the vast necropolis of the ancient capital of Memphis. Stretching over seven kilometers, it served as a burial ground for pharaohs, nobles, and high officials across multiple dynasties.

The British have long been associated with the Dordogne Valley. Fertile and green, this is where the 100 Year's War was fought. Many of the castles and "Bastides" were built by the British. The French say it is the land with "a little bit of everything", from a gentle river to lush pastures to wonderful wineries.

Lifou Island, the most populous of the Loyalty Islands in New Caledonia, is a flat, former coral atoll with abundant vegetation and surrounded by secluded coral reefs which many say offer some of the best snorkeling in the world.

Sitka is accessible only by air or sea, giving visitors a real taste of this wild frontier. Sitka offers incredible scenery, fishing, hiking, and abundant wildlife. 22 of Sitka's buildings and monuments appear in the National Register of Historic Places.
